About Jill

Christian Science has been central to my life for as long as I can remember. As a result of reading the Christian Science textbook and with dedicated prayer, my mother was healed of a life-long, incurable skin disease and became a dedicated Christian Scientist, and my brother and I attended Sunday School.

As a child, love for God and healing were never far from my thought and during college the practicing of Christian Science became a natural part of my life. I married my wonderful husband, and in 1977, as a young mother with two small children, I went into the public practice of Christian Science. Years of happy family life followed, interwoven with an active public practice of spiritual healing, and in 1985 I became a Christian Science teacher—an inspiring activity that I have done for the last 35 years.

In 1988 I had the privilege of serving on The Christian Science Board of Directors and subsequently, was asked to be President of The Mother Church. This was followed by eight years of giving lectures all over the world as a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship.

My family consist of a son and a daughter and five much loved grandchildren.

I am still doing what I have always held most dear – praying, spiritual healing and helping others understand God. What a privilege and joy!
